Microsoft has announced his plan on April 2017 to disable VBScript in Internet Explorer 11. This means the VBScript will not be used for Scripting Language for IE 11 and will not be executed for Webpages displayed on IE 11.
Now, Microsoft recently announced in a blog post that beginning on August 13 or This month cumulative update VBScript will be disabled by default in Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 7, 8, 8.1. While in Internet Explorer on Windows 10, this feature is already turned off on July 9 or on last month Cumulative update.
Microsoft also said if users can still enable this feature if you need it from the Registry, Group Policy, and Restricted Site.
